Workshop Venue

AACD 2024 will be held in the Aula del Quattrocento of University of Pavia in Pavia, Italy. The Aula del Quattrocento is located in the main hystorical university building in the city center, whithin walking distance from the hotels and the train station.

How to Reach Pavia

By Car

Pavia is located 30 km south of Milan. It can be reached via Highway A7 (Milan-Genoa), exit Bereguardo-Pavia Nord, or via Highway A21 (Turin-Piacenza-Brescia), exit Broni-Stradella.

By Train

All the trains running on the line from Milan to Genoa stop in Pavia. Train schedule and electronic tickets are available on the Italian Railway web site:

By Airplane

Airports nearby Pavia:

• Milano Linate: 40 km (Milan Metro M4 from Linate to Dateo and then train S13 from Dateo to Pavia);
• Milano Malpensa: 88 km (Train Malpensa Express from Malpensa to Milano Bovisa-Politecnico and then train S13 from Milano Bovisa-Politecnico to Pavia);
• Bergamo Orio al Serio: 100 km.

Visa Requirements

All foreign participants must have a valid passport except the European Union citizens, who need only an identification card. Invitation letters to apply for a visa will be sent upon request.
