Topics on Microelectronics |
In the last years, an increasing number of microelectronic companies are establishing design centers in the Milan area (Allegro Microsystems, AMS, Analog Devices, Bosch, Huawei, Infineon, Inventvm, Marvell, Photeon, STMicroelectronics, Synopsys, TDK-Invensense, etc….). In this scenario, an advanced educational activity is a key point for success. The ToM events are addressing researchers, designers from companies, and students (Master and Ph. D.), who want to improve their knowledge in the microelectronic field.
Each event typically consists of talks/lectures on different topics, given by academic professors or qualified experts coming from companies or research centers. In this way the academic and industrial approaches for research and state-of-the art progress are presented.
Different topics are addressed in each event. This is intentionally done in order to cover as much as possible the wide spectrum of challenges in the present microelectronic world.
The courses are organized together with the Italian Chapter of the IEEE Solid-State Circuit Society, the Ph. D. School of National Interest in Micro- and Nano-Electronics and the University of Milano-Bicocca.
ToM 2023 will be held on September 4th-6th, 2023 on the theme “Power Electronics Innovations for a Sustainable World” with instructors from Infineon Technologies.
Registration is mandatory to attend the courses. Registered participants will receive:
- attendance to all lectures
- pdf material for all lectures
- lunches and coffee breaks
- certificate of participation
- final exam with certificate (if needed)
The course will be held at University of Milano-Bicocca in Room Martini, Building U6 (Floor -1), Piazza dell'Ateneo Nuovo, 20126 Milan, Italy.
An exam at the end of the course will allow Ph. D. students to acquire ECTS.
